Item - Postcard from Ritchie Valen family containing the postal stamp featuring Ritchie Valens  to Jerry Lee Lewis on June 16th, 1993, the day the stamp was released.

Event - Presentation to Jerry Lee Lewis from the Ritchie Valens Family To Commemorate the launch of the Ritchie Valens stamp. 

Age - Card is 1993 and back of card was inscribed in 08-26-04 and presented to Jerry Lee Lewis. Jerry and Ritchie were friends and played gigs together prior to Ritchie's tragic death. 

Historical -  Historical in many ways it was from Ritchie Valens' family to Jerry Lee Lewis. Stamp is postmarked on the day the Ritchie Valens' stamp was released as part of the Legends Of American Music Series, Signatures of Ritchies sisters.

Stamped Mark reading - CELEBRATION Watsonville Station, Watsonville CA 95076 with artwork of guitar that very slightly the guitar overlays mid left border of the stamp. 

Card in double sided acrylic, Wide Black Frame. Likely the card was sent in this presentation box 

Numbers / Marks -  Stamps on card may have been event stamps and were likely stamped by the USPS for the Valens family on 1993 date of release of postal stamp matches hand stamps on card.
