NOTES - Pyralspite is a super-rare garnet rarely seen on the market. Some poor quality rough remains for sale. This garnet is sometimes referred to as a Malaya or Malaia Garnet but in truth it is it’s another form of rare garnet. This gem does exhibit color change red to pink and all of the color shifts are very attractive. It is now illegal to import this gem as rough material out of Africa.
