History - One ready of four of these in the oldest pawnshop in America and were likely packed away in some corner for a century. One has never been assembled and one untouched for a century was packed in an old cardboard box. These have been located as presentation pieces to Attorney Generals in Argentina (engraved). They have been found in France and Italy. They are "based on prices online (we are lower than all we found at this quality) rarity and desirablility. We finally think we found a tiny Hallmark." This is from the time of Picasso, Hemingway, Zelda & Scott Fitzgerald, Josephine Baker, Dali and Mogdiliani when electricity was new and art inundated Europe especially Paris. The war was raging in Europe. These lamps would have been purchased for their amazing illustration of electricity and metal work, and would have been show pieces which could be illuminated to awe guests and create ambience. We have two being rewired 1 smaller piece being changed to a USA style plug about 15 pounds each and another like new (never assembled in 1920's) 30+pounds awaiting assembly now. .Smaller pieces go for less about $2500-$3500.00 each. Contact us to save by rewiring the 2 small pieces yourself, unless you need a European plug. Or if you want a large piece still packed with original bulb. They screw together with military accuracy.
